This movie is not the typical, exciting, action, end-of-the-world film. It gives what I felt to be such a realistic, relatable depiction of human beings dealing with crises - especially in the wake of what we experienced during the pandemic. I appreciated the interaction between the family, it felt genuine and authentic.
I didn't enjoy the swearing but given the context it can be understood.
Sure, it is pretty long, maybe unnecessarily long, but the ending was really worthwhile for me.
SPOILERS
I was so glad there wasn't a sex scene and that the characters held up morally most of the time. What a relief!!
The ending MADE this movie - hope for the little guy, that's what we need.
