We serendipitously ran across Away and watched it over several nights without reading any reviews or watching any trailers. Although in the beginning we were ready to switched to something else, the cast, crew, and script were captivating and compelled us to continue watching. Now, we can only hope for another season. While others may not, we tend to like unexpected things and this show had plenty, especially the way the actors portrayed their characters who had likable characteristics and not at different times. It really help to have technically plausible things happen and unorthodox approaches and solutions tried. (If only they brought something like JB Weld along to repair or patch the hole they drilled.) The ending was amazing and left us hoping for more.
