Aquaman isn't a movie, it's a feeling. That the runt of a family, the half-breed, the mongrel, can accept that about himself and still strive for the greatest prize of them all, not for glory but for a chance to save what he holds dear. Aquaman isn't the greatest superhero movie, but it succeeds in making the rejected who watch it, feel, if only for a few hours of their lives, that they too can save their world.
