Volver is mesmerising. Although the plot looks light & funny in the onset, it goes deep as the plot unravels. This film introduces to the Spanish culture of love and bonding, of caring neighborhood, of homesteads in Spanish villages, their beliefs and practices, their superstitions. The courage, grit and determination of Spanish women has been depicted well which is the essence of the movie. Penelope Cruz is extra ordinary in emoting & well supported by the other cast. Loved the story, screenplay, direction, camera work & dialogues.

Light movie with lots of turns & twists..loads of surprises & fun..acting, location, costumes very good. Relaxing.
