Nosferatu was miserable garbage. The visuals were stunning aside from the fact that Orlock looked more like Rasputin. With the exception of Nicholas Hoult, the acting was Shatneresque. Otherwise, it is the same recycled butchery of the source material. But somehow slower and with less appeal. Why resurrect a tale if you cannot achieve a better telling than all the others? Nothing new or interesting, no twist or spin, just recycled without purpose. Frankly if the younger Skarsgard brother is in a film from now on, I won't bother, and I'm unlikely to watch any other Eggers projects.

Without spoilers, I can't explain, but the holes in the plot ruin what could have been a delightfully disturbing film. I enjoyed it but if you have half a brain stem the twisty plot will just annoy you.
