The chills that this book gave me were numerous and utterly delightful. I LOVE scares that come with the REALIZATION of something seemingly normal or just odd at the time and this ENTIRE novel is predicated on that. You can tell that the prose is creepypasta-esque in its simplicity and straightforward tone, so it might not be for everyone (I'm more of a Stephen King guy) but as guilty pleasure horror novels go, this is absolute junk food (in a very good way! )
And that ending ... holy moly ...
