I watched the first episode and found it profoundly disturbing. No light and shade here and like others have said, Maxwell-Martin's various accents were as annoying as her clichéd portrayal of a free-spirited aging hippy chick. I was mostly interested to see Shaun Evans as I am a huge Endeavour fan. He didn't disappoint but I doubt I will watch more episodes, just too darn depressing...

The acting is brilliant, the relationship between Joan and Boisie is credible and moving. It's a bit depressing to watch - it's essentially glamorising theft - but I loved the settings, especially London, reminded me of my 20s when I lived in London.Would I watch it again? Probably not but it is providing some welcome escapism at this time of the year and the music is fab.

I can't believe a television programme about this subject was made. I agree with others on here - total propaganda. We were fed a bunch of lies and many bought into it. We want to forget that ghastly period - not have it glorified in the guise of "entertainment" to justify all the bad decisions which were made - which incidentally precipitated my mother's death (who did not die of this "disease" but was neglected in the local hospital because she was not considered a priority). So, shame on whoever conceived this nonsense and shame on the actors who sold out but they are probably laughing all the way to the bank.

It was brilliant, classy, exciting - all the things you expect a Bond film to be. A few new twists and we see at times a rather woke Bond in touch with his feelings as never before but the ruthlessness is always under the surface so there is something for everyone. I think this is Daniel Craig's best performance of all his outings as 007, I will miss him. Loved Lashana Lynch as the female 007 too, a nice addition in the film. And Rami Malek shows yet again the great cinematic charisma he has, I could watch him for hours. Big respect as well to the ever-reliable Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.

Not a patch on the earlier film with Julie Christie, Alan Bates and Terence Stamp. Richard Rodney Bennett's score was a knock-out too. In this remake, although the Dorset scenery was stunning I couldn't warm to the actors and found it irritating that often the soundtrack played over the dialogue which sometimes made it hard to decipher what was being said. It wasn't a bad film but the intensity of the Schlesinger movie was completely absent for me. Disappointing.

I don't think I will bother seeing it, on the basis of her poor acting in court recently ☺.

Two opposing social classes collide with devastating effect. Brilliant, intelligent, witty, powerful, superb film-making. I wasn't even aware of the sub-titles, the acting and direction told me everything I needed to know.
