My Summer (with Robots) is the first in what's apparently to be a three book series. The main character is Quinten, a 14 yr old boy who lives in AZ and who's summer of misadventure is chronicled in the pages of the book. The book is written in first-person voice and Quinten is dealing with both family and friend problems. But his biggest concern is how he left things with a boy named T J who had a crush on him in elementary school. Quinten was pretty awful to him but now he has regrets and a chance meeting at the high school they'll both be going to is about to change everything! High recommended.
