Alrighty! First of all, I must touch the point that people have been bringing up... the CGI/strange look of the actors. I agreed at first, but I also grew up on the original Cats musical on the vhs. I enjoyed the added story in the new movie.. those little details that you may not have picked up on in the original musical and the different point of view. If you go past the cgi, then it is a good and fun story. Another fun little detail is that Disney attempted to get rights on the story, but the original author of the book cats is based on did not want cats to be cartoon cats. This made me a bit more open to the fact human faces were used in the movie (though I wouldn’t have minded more cat like makeup like they did in the old musical).
