This was a great show until the end of the last episode and Cassie's diatribe. Throughout the series white girls are kidnapped (including a transfeminine) and trafficked and nothing is said. White men are killed, nothing said. White women killed, nothing said. Not even about the graphic visual of Ronald/Arthur slashing Scarlett's sisters face. Nothing said about domestic violence when Scarlett reveals she killed her boyfriend for being abusive. Much deserved, but no social commentary. Jenny has been threatened with death through the last three episodes and nothing. Cassie is threatened by a corrupt sheriff who is a bigot too and all of a sudden all black women will rise in her defense if she is killed. What makes her death any more meaningful than anyone else's? Does the fact she is killed because of color any more tragic than the others? We all know he is a vile person, we didn't need the speech at the end. And bigotry comes in all colors and genders, something Hollywood and the media doesn't want to acknowledge or portray. If we're seeking equality them let's have equality, good or bad.
