This is a movie based on a violent video game, the fx and fight scenes are amazing. There is some humor and good call backs to the game. Not sure why critics are looking to plot and dialogue for oscar winning content. It's a fun movie with good fx and if you played the game you are psyched to root for the characters you loved to play.
