I seriously persevered with this series and wanted to like it, but found it a little to corney and irritating. Series 2 episode 1 i finally gave up. Some people will love it others will not, i just wanted it to be a little more serious.

After originally reading the book which was great and watching the original movie which was very good, i can honestly say this new version is absolute garbage. If you want to enjoy this story read the book and watch the original movie.

I gave it one hour of my time and by then the boredom had truly set in.

In a word disappointing.
