Just finished watching #chamkila on #netflix . Trust Imtiaz Ali to tell a story so convincingly. The hypocrisy of society, the painful game an artist must play when catering to the masses, and the shades of grey we all dress ourselves with to play our designated roles, are poignantly narrated in the movie. The last song was a true heart -toucher. Diljit Dosanjh proving his prowess of embodying "Punjab" as his own self was magnificent to watch. Couldn't keep my eyes away from how natural Parineeti Chopra looked and acted throughout. The girl deserves good films like this. The crowd-joined narrative tunes were so good! Loved the #daingaddaingad song 😅 The Music was what was BEST in the movie. Mohit Chauhan's Ishq mita caters to all senses. Chamkila is a must watch. Shall we all sympathise with our artists? They are only trying to do what they know. After all we are all human. A deep and eye-opening insight to the price to pay for popularity in the narrative of JLO's prep for her historical half-time performance with Shakira. The movie refers to her three decade-long career as a multi-talented artist and what really spoke to me is how much maturity ageing gives us, and the way how our loved celebrities truly struggle during their day to day lives due to their plastered smiles! Would love to see Shakira's perspective on this as well, as a Latina. Kudos to JLO and team for this insightful presentation!

An endearing movie mingled with the old-world charm and the cast does an absolute fantastic job! Going to watch this again with my husband who is a chef. Also got motivated to have a 365 day deadline to my writing goals as well. Wish me luck everyone!

Absolutely loved every bit of it until tragedy hit Serez family. After that it was pretty much a normal regular drama. The best thing about medcezir was Mr. Barış Falay. Lots of love!Amazing ensemble cast and wonderful team work. Blessings!

Have seen this more than a 100 times ! What a perfect motion picture. So heart-breaking and yet full of nostalgic joy! A must-watch for all 90s kids for sure!
