My Wife and I have watched Emmerdale from the very first showing. Now we are trying to decide if it would be more enjoyable to read a book. For a Prime time tv show, it is terrible. To portray a Father abusing and kicking his Son is absolutely disgusting. Far too much violence. And what is all that with a Vicar representing a church, putting a murdered body in a grave. I have never seen a Vicar dressed in that fashion either. It is a disgrace to the Church. You would think that under the present circumstances ITV could come up with better storylines. In their stories, burning down factories, with a person getting killed, murdering a Police Officer, etc. No one seems to be getting held responsible for these so called crimes. So, what message is that to send out to the Public. Many people we spoke to feel the same. I guess other people would suggest that all we need to do is, turn off the TV set.
