First of all, I love this show (I'm currently watching it for a second time). Second, I wanted to share my point of view of the show and explain some things. The overall plot is much like the mexican telenovela Atrevete a Soñar minus the whole Cinderella bit. I think the authors of the show wanted to assimilate to a traditional telenovela where there aren't many dynamic characters that we can see from the get go and there is so much drama. However, they prolong the storyline to keep the audience interested (hence the cliffhanger at the end), If you like a faster plot, this show is not for you, but if you are okay with waiting, then go right ahead. Now, my favorite characters are Mia and Alvaro just because I think they are perfect together and I'm a fan of teenage romance so more reasons to ship it.
