This is an amazing read. Dolmage brings together insight from a broad range of academic disciplines and historical information to identify discrepancies in the treatment of those with disabilities within our institutes of higher education. This book literally changed not just the way I perceive institutes of higher education but how I view much of what goes on in our society in relation to those who live with disability. If you have any interest at all, even just mild curiosity about understanding the dynamics at play when our institutes of higher education, lawmakers and our society in general interact with the world of disability read this book.
