About decade ago my friend and myself used to discuss on possibility of female version of Shyam chi Aai. This movie has to an extent given that platform in independent India. Radha of ZS much like Yashoda of SA tries to inculcate social values and culture in her children inspite of hardships in life. The movie somewhat also seemed to be inspired by Chimtaa of Hamid in Munshi Premchand's Idgah , which here is shown as Funknee . The on screen Suman looked highly expressive and a promising star in days to come .
