BUSTING FEELS GOOD AGAIN! ๐ป๐ซ
Old life has been breathed back from the great beyond. When you google Ghostbusters or even add in 1984 so thereโs no mistake.Youโll still have the 2016s triller along 84โs images looking back at you (no joke check it out!) and this shouldnโt be rated lower than 2016s no!
Please
Ignore the critics who have really went to town on this for unknown reasons,( And now it appears are having to back peddle ) Go in with a open mind. The passing of Ramis (Egon) was always going to make any attempt Of a third film difficult but itโs beautifully and quite cleverly tied in to the story to actually create a good plot, that makes great creative use of the Manhattan crossrip events as historical material, funny yes, not enough jokes. But there in their, Down side is Not enough ghosts or busting. More focus is shifted on the living characters than the dead. With a lovely welcome return to Elmer Bernsteins original score from the very second of opening screen time with some extended and reworking interludes worthy of the man himself.Visually it recaptures the iconic sounds, visuals & colours ie the proton streams, flares and voices, it isnโt to heavy on CGI either,(always a good thing) is it 1984โs lighting in a bottle again no, is it 1989โs no, but is it as worthy as a great sequel to the others yes! and afterlife is the one we hoped
rather than a awful reboot that no one asked for.
OH and very important! stay until after the credits have rolled up. Go see it! go.
