This is a cute story. Constructed like a grade school shoebox diorama. Highly Manufactured Product from the Hollywood Machine. Seems to be very "Disney" with the lights turned down really low. Not quite dark enough to be scary and not quite bright enough to be a children's book. The plot is highly predictable the characters are flat like paper. The author failed to give a true third dimension to the group. Maybe Mr. Way could do a little origami magic to bring the characters alive? The cinematography is a bargain bin ripoff of Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Benjamin Button, Sugar & Spice, and a dash of other late 90s early 2000s films. This is a really bad distortion of Quentin Tarantino films. Please Mr. Way try writing something that doesn't feel like I am riding the haunted mansion and a small world at the same time?!?? I tried really hard to binge watch the first season. I really wanted to like it. On the International Nuclear Event Scale this was a solid level 7. In a nutshell this show is like drinking non alcoholic vodka. We all know it exists but what is the point?!?
