I get the bad reviews, because most people want a simple movie with easy to follow Marvel/Pixar-like narrative without any context whatsoever. There's a lot to unpack in this movie when you understand WB was going to make this movie with or without Lana. When viewed through that lens, you can see this is a movie soaked in irony and told from an cornered artistic viewpoint. What Lana Wachowski has given us is a movie dripping with social commentary about everything from patriarchal overreach, Trans rights, gender war, Hollywood exploitation of children. This is my favourite movie this year and probably from last year too. Give it a rewatch while keeping what I said before in mind. Btw, Lana took back "the Red Pill" for LGBTQ+ community. I definitely see myself in the new Agent Smith.

Aaron Ehasz - the showrunner for Avatar: The Last Airbender knows how to world build, and he really shows off his skills with the first two seasons of the Dragon Prince. The first season thrusts the audience into a realm in turmoil with humans facing against elves for control of the world. The second season focuses on character arcs, and building up the emotional elements of the series. This is Game of Thrones for the whole family with plenty of storylines you can theorize with your family. I have never experienced a show quite like this, animated or not. Give this a series a chance to grow on you.
