First Kill

This show goes above and beyond. I’d compare it to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in terms of visuals. It’s one of the only animated media I’ve seen that could never, EVER be adapted into a book, or even live-action. I can’t even really explain it. It’s just that good. This is everything adult animation should be. Not some ugly, scribbled-together crude comedy like so many shows for adults. It’s beautiful, and so well-written. There is some crude humor, but it’s excellently integrated and never seems like it’s trying to use shock humor. If I could rate this show more than five stars, I would.

Arcane
