I started watching this series thinking it will be a predictable romantic melodrama of how a contract marriage couple actually falls in love but it’s not only about that. It’s also majorly a story of a man who looses everything to stay by his dyeing wife. Yes...the girl has brain tumour and has a sad ending. Happy ending would have definitely made it worth watching till the end. I binge watch my shows so this Monday morning makes me feel like I wasted my weekend watching a sad
Melodramatic and hopeless drama — might as well watched something more uplifting.
The acting is good especially the kid, however it does get boring in the middle episodes; so I forwarded a lot. They didn’t have to show that she had cancer to show the extent that he loves her. Maybe to make it more acceptable to the audience that she agrees to such a contract for money; they showed that she had a very pathetic life of a poor widow trying hard to raise her daughter; also repaying her husbands’ loan while loan sharks are troubling her ....adding to her miseries she has brain tumour too!!! Why they had to show so many miseries to make her look ethical while entering contract. So much of crying that follows... they could have made a melodrama by simply showing the two end up falling in love despite their backgrounds and make it into a positive love story rather than a hopeless one.
My advice so that you don’t feel wasted after a weekend binge watch is that Don’t binge watch this. This is a good drama to watch for acting etc but as it has a sad ending watch it periodically as it should be or along with another romantic comedy or happy ending Kdrama to balance your emotions and this way you won’t feel of such a waste of time in the end. Trust me guys. This is okay to watch but strictly no binge watch. Thank me later 😉👍
