The South influence in direction and action sequences is strongly present. The action sequences felt good initially, but got very repetitive by the end. Sunny Deol’s acting is decent, but is lacking the upgrade from his long hiatus. It was like watching Arnold Schwarzenegger running away from bullets supposedly fast enough, but visibly slow enough for someone to unload half a magazine. On the Other hand, Randeep Huda’s acting was excellent, but the director could have given him more Tamil sequences and dialogues. It is a one time watcher, but you would get bored from the middle of the police station scene all the way till the end because it has a lot of cliched dialogues and drama.

The theme of the movie is around palmistry and the probability of someone changing their destiny. The movie could have been made in 99 different (better ways) but Salman being Salman chose the one way that would make you cry from the very beginning. The movie has no reference between scenes. It’s a mental exercise to link up the various scenes. Most shots have been shot in slow mo, i guess the attempt was to make it an art based movie, but that didn’t work as well. Overall, not even a one time watch. I wish Prabhas all the best and I hope he picks better movies from here on.

Standard Bollywood unrealism. Comedy is OK. SRK plays as SRK. Anushka (then) brought about a fresh face and definitely did have talent then. SRK films are overrated. I don’t spend money on such films. Yeeesh!
