Why any reader would like this book is a mystery. Barbara Ehrenreich took jobs from people who actually needed them, and if everything in this book is to be believed she also took from a food pantry, also taking from those actually in need. She will never know what it is like to actually be in poverty, because she states she even has funds to fall back on if the "experiment" fails. No one who is in poverty has this luxury. She also compares wearing a uniform to being black??? Huh???? I did not read this book for fun, it was for an assignment so I actually had to finish it. If it had not been for that assignment I would've ducked out so quickly.
