It kind of had a classic, unassuming charm about it—a tiny bit like a horror movie from the 40s or 50s—with the horror cranked up beyond the acceptable levels of those days. There were some parts that seemed incredibly illogical in terms of character circumstance and some of the dialogue felt like it was straight out of an old comic book. But again, that latter critique may or may not be a part of its aforementioned charm. But I really liked it. Honestly, I wanted to like it more than I did, but I’m a fan of the series also.
