Spencer 2021 - If I could give negative stars, I would. I thought this film dealt horribly with really important mental health issues and painted Diana as an insane narcissist, rather than a broken woman struggling to cope. It completely misconstrued Diana’s soul and honestly left me shocked, disgusted, and disappointed. This last point might be a bit too radical, but somehow I don’t think Lady Di was seeing the ghost of Anne Boleyn as the reason to keep going. Just a thought. This film is absolutely shocking. I remember watching this as a child and it scarred me and watching it again as an 18 year old, I found it even more haunting. there are so many issues with this movie, namely; 1. There are no tunes 2. All of characters are completely different, and the scarecrow is terrifying 3. Wheelers. 4. For some reason the chicken is the key to success all along 5. It makes literally. no. sense. Complete waste of time.
