A Little Chaos is a hidden gem! The acting is superb. The storyline is well thought out and presented crisply, all while carrying a strong yet damaged female character as lead, played by Kate Winslet. Alan Rickman creates a rich, endearing, and somewhat quirky portrayal of the French King, Louis XIV who it seems impossible not to adore. Sabine De Barra's (Winslet) project master, played by Matthias Schoenaerts, is an endearing, warm, and a bit lost spirit who is unaware he is in need of regaining the spark of life. While I'm only mentioning these few of the characters, they are all noteworthy and make up a rich tapestry that brings this historical tale to a peacefilled, heartwarming, and exquisite climax. So glad I stumbled upon it while browsing Netflix.
