So disappointing. My kids and I have read and listened to the Artemis Fowl series multiple times and grown to love the characters. I was looking forward to the series my kids were skeptical, they were right. Artemis is supposed to be sassy, confident, ten steps ahead of everyone around him, he would never surf, he would never wear a hoodie. I understand and appreciate that movies and books often diverge and accept and often love both a book and it’s video counterpart but this just went too far for those of us who need our characters to remain true even if the plot has to change slightly for the sake of time constraints or social climate. You can’t change who Artemis and Mulch and Root are at their base and expect your Core group to accept it. Good luck with a new audience they may enjoy it the actors did a great job, but we couldn’t even finish it.
