Utterly improbable…….fairy tale. Where is the stark reality of life in revolutionary Moscow?

My only problem with this book, and I have read and enjoyed all of the Strike series so far, is that it is a bit too long and drawn out.......and there are few of the poetic images we have had so far except perhaps in references to the sea. As for the accusations of transphobia- what nonsense. One character uses cross dressing as a way to reassure and lure his victims - nothing new in that - and he gets some sort of sexual satisfaction out of it - nothing new in that either....
