To start off, I was surprised. Lately Iโve been iffy about Disney movies based on my own beliefs, and I thought this one would just be another disappointment. Thatโs why I had a close family member do a Christian review check (plugged in) before watching it (I hate spoilers). I was so delighted to find that the movie was actually very family friendly and contained nothing dirty (based on my beliefs). So that night with my family (best way to watch a movie!) we watched it and guess what? I LOVED IT!! The plot was attention grabbing, the background connected and made sense, the tension between Chip and Dale was hilarious, and all throughout the movie I enjoyed seeing many familiar and non familiar movie characters. Now I have not only never seen chip and dale the show, but I have not seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Though the movie was constructed to where all people could enjoy it, leaving Easter eggs and many references and scenes to the old show for fans, and plenty of explanations and stories to help along the way for those who had not seen it. And for the Roger rabbit thing, I just loved seeing people and animation together in a unique and not at all immature way. If you too was uncomfortable with daleโs new look, you actually begin to forget about it in the movie, although they do comment it throughout the film but in a very smart and constructed way. I also very much liked all the old characters (except Monty though I understand why) having the same old voice actors. I also enjoyed see non-Disney characters (I see you ugly Sonic!) and the scenes of those odd animated characters from real life. And for what I didnโt like? (Peter Panโs new horrifying look) but other than that, nothing. It was very funny and morally impacting for all ages to enjoy. If there is anything else I wish to say, (because believe me, I could go on and on about what I loved about the movie, like Dale somehow uncovering the code:) itโs that I hope Disney and other movie companies will continue to make more family friendly, clean movies like these, because Iโve seen it in other movies. Like Ronโs Gone Wrong (Iโve done a movie review on it also), or even Jungle Cruise. Movies, animated/live action/ or both donโt need all the extra stuff to be great. In fact, how does anything thatโs inappropriate or fowl contribute to making the movie better? This is just my opinion and i absolutely respect those of others, just thank you all who had a part in this movie and for making it!
