This is a pretty good show that really needs a technical advisor. Just for starters...the USMC does not train or have medics among their ranks. Navy corpsmen accompany Marines in Combat. Tonight's episode portrays Hondo as a former Marine Corps Medic, a position that simply does not exist. Any Veteran would know that and it reflects poorly on the authenticity of the show.
