The movie was visually stunning and definitely felt like a true Star Wars movie, however it left more questions unanswered than answered, and the main two characters ended up no better (or arguably worse off) than they did at the beginning of the sequel trilogy. I absolutely love that Reylo happened (their scenes were the best part), but at what cost? The actors (especially Adam Driver) and actresses made the whole movie worth seeing, but as a whole, the movie took so much away from Anakin being the "chosen one." It also lost much of the plot trying to please everyone and catering to so many "fan theories," that it was borderline overwhelming and simply too much to keep up with. Had the movie been slightly longer for the audience to adjust to everything thrown at us, as well as had not made a complete joke of the Skywalker and Solo legacy and names, I believe the movie would have been so much better. I truly hope they bring Ben back, because both he and Rey deserved so much better than that awful and tragic ending. Now it seems like Star Wars only ever ends in disappointment, and that the same family continually messes up the galaxy, only to be redeemed for a minute before dying tragically. I honestly hope I can go back to loving Disney and Star Wars as much as I used to, because so many people are heartbroken. Ben and Rey both deserved so much better, and the audience finally deserved to be given the happy ending we've been waiting for all these years.
