Yo I have never played any other resident evil game in my life but I know this game took a sorta curve from the other resident evils, man this game was so amazing I can’t count the amount of times I screamed like a child lol constant exciting puzzles that make you use your brain but not too much, an honestly great story and backstory, jump scares that will have you up and out of your chairs, great gunfights, and even better boss fights. The game always had a very eerie feeling at all times always hearing random noises checking corners they really did something with this game, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone if they are looking for a good single player game, this is definetly one of my top favorite games of all time
