It’s just a show but it’s origins are truly magical, read the Narnia books and then read the magicians it takes place in the same universe, which is also OUR universe. The rings are real, the buttons are real and fillory is real. They got magic wrong though it’s much more complicated than moving your fingers around but the actual spells are possible just not as shown in the show. -Finch
