It's an interesting concept for a television show. However, I think alot of the sex is unnecessary to the story. It comes across, to me at least, like they had to fill spots. Or like they thought boobies would make the ratings higher? Otherwise the whole siren backstory and the conflict of the business's keeps it interesting.
