I'm at 50/50 on this, but only 2 episodes in so...
Sydney Chandler plays "Wendy" and she's definitely got the cute, waiflike, 'Amelie'-esque look going on, but also with an INTENSITY that I find exhilarating.
Sadly, unless more of the writing/acting can rise to that intensity, I don't see this going more than 1 season. ๐

Ginny and I LOVED this series! Funny, fun, irreverent, sarcastic, ironic, insulting, poignant, sad, and uplifting! โค๏ธ

Decidedly poor European "Jumanji"-esque fare. I think the cast was having some fun, but it was neither comedic, action, or dramatic enough, so the writing and direction were fails, intended to just get money out of viewers pockets. It's stuff like this that makes me think about cancelling NetFlix!

I remember watching this decades ago. It impacted me greatly, as I was in the military and loved 'SciFi'. It was completely believable (and still seems so) even in this day and age.

Wow! One of the few artistic masterworks that actually approaches an hallucinatory dream trip that reflects the deepest reality. Remarkable!

Standard Statham movie where he kicks ass and is as untouchable as a ghost, but the supporting cast was the honey in the gooey mess of a film!
And, it CLEARLY raises the VERY NECESSARY spectre of what probably needs to happen in Murican government, to separate it from the criminal enterprises that have taken it over and put it back into its clearly informed role as A PROTECTOR OF THE CITIZENRY!

Dead. CRAIC! ๐คฃ๐๐ปโค๏ธ
Though years getting here, part 2 is an excellent, funny, bit of completion/closure! Glad so many of the original cast were able to return, and new cast was able to chew the scenery with delightful voraciousness!

Not bad, overall! Gives an other view of "this too shall pass".
Greatness becomes common, survival becomes comfortable, nomads find homes, the journey becomes the destination.
To thrive as a spirit a person chooses to change and become...something other than what they were.
Aside from that, some of the (voice) actors seemed to "phone in" their roles without excitement only for a paycheck.
Awkwafina and Jack Black delivered though, and the humor - as well as the spiritual wandering - saved this from only being a 2 star review.

Ending my viewing with the ending of Season 2.
Could tell things were starting to drag.
Psychologically started out really well, but there is only so much you can do with or expect of humans in survival situations.
If you are constantly faced with the fact that you are already carrying the virus, and within minutes of 'dying' your corpse will reanimate, that breeds only two extremes with very little middle ground... either suicidal death psychopathy or survivalistic narcissism.
Either way, there is no more "living" or "life", and "the show ends".

Incredibly mediocre movie, not really sure where to put it?
Wasn't the actors faults, clearly, with the talented cast, and consequently not the director either as the cast did well with what they were given
I have to lay this debacle at the feet of (either) the writer thinking that the audience would be so obtuse that they must be handheld through every plot point while also naive enough to understand with the coincidental and unbelievable luck of the main character HE SHOULD BE PLAYING THE LOTTERY!
'Mneh', overall! ๐
