Looks good. Ya, that's where the good stops. Unplayable on controller. Have to be an engineer to set your car up. (Yes the race engineer does not help) The only cars that can stay on the track are LMP or GT cars. Don't bother with the rest. I think it's rediculous to call it a racing simulator. Cars DON NOT handle like that. It just looks good and that's why it gets an extra star. Let's see what Project Cars 3 can do.

Great handling allows for competitive racing... under homologation. If you're looking to have a game that pits manufacturers against each other with cars in their raw unedited state than this game is not for you. It's almost impossible to race cars similar to you without homologation (basically makes all cars relatively the same) so you would have to suffice with racing in a really mixed up field if you want to race cars with their normal setup. The career mode is extremely frustrating; I don't even play it. They put you in the middle of the field with extremely limited laps leaving it impossible for you to win unless you lower the difficulty to one below your standard; quite boring as you literally are left to pick off sitting ducks. The reason for it being 4 stars and not 3 is because of the handling being a very enjoyable experience.
