I loved the reference Mirembe and Lavelle made about sequels not being as good as the originals. But in this case, Coming 2 America was a strong second chapter of the Coming to America story. I loved getting to spend time with these characters again. I was sad when the movie ended - I wanted a little more time. My broken-down quarantined spirit was delighted by the creative touches all over the place.
