This game do have the potential to become like its predecessor but unfortunately the path that it went ruins everything. The graphics, the visual, soundtracks were also very beautiful. The atmosphere also feels very natural in the way its supposed to be. But when it came to the characters and the storyline, this is where all the wrong and the problem begins. The death of Joel is pretty much inevitable like in the first game he barely escaped death a few times. I didn't feel mad or upset on why he must die, no, I feel mad and upset because of why he must die like that in particular and why I must sympathize the killer. The killer beaten him to death using golf clubs over and over then they mocked his remains and spit on him. It is okay that we feel boiling anger and hatred for the killer because they just murdered the beloved protagonist from the previous game. This is the point where I understand why Ellie want a revenge, even me in general want the killer to payback. But suddenly the game asked us to sympathize the killer by simply using the cheap way such as in Ellie perspective, we could only see her wrath and how she brutally kills whoever on her path whilst the killer perspective we saw how the killer was gentle and friendly to living beings and even protecting children. I ain't buy into that. Even though the game intentionally shows us Ellie's rampage and killing spree while the killer were shown to be kind and gentle, accidentally the game also shows us the differences between both of them. Even after killing countless lives and even a pregnant woman, Ellie still feels unpleasant and even disgusted with her own wrongdoings by showing us how she feels very uncomfortable and traumatized after doing such thing while as the killer, also kill a pregnant woman by slitting her throat she didn't feel anything and even feel satisfied doing it. This is a clear differences between both of them. In a single-player game, the most important thing is the storyline but in this game it's just full with bunch of craps and cheap plot and don't get me started with the ending. It is so bad that I even regret playing it. The ending was a total BS. I just waste my time and my money to play and buy this game for an ending in which I am not satisfied at all. In the end, I just replay the first game and disacknowledge the existence of part 2. Yeah, the game basically ended with Joel saving Ellie from the hospital, no more. If you ever heard of the part 2 it's basically just a fanfiction game by Neil Druckmann, that's it. And I'm wishing you have a nice day.
