Because I couldn’t give it a zero. SPOILER ALERT it’s a vampire movie but why? So gave this a chance, wanted it to be good. It is the most dizzying story line, you don’t know where they’re going. Shallow stereotypes, MBJ plays twins (why I don’t know) that play, hold on to your hats, flawless untouchable gangsters that have to wear different color clothes (red fish blue fish) so you can tell them apart because he can’t act like two different people🙄. Where they lost me, during the opening of “The Juke Joint” the talented guitar playing cousin took stage, and a voice over monologue about black suffering, but how the music turned into whatever. That scene, you see a “Bootsy” looking guy in 70’s disco playing an electric guitar, camera pans over, and there’s some dj dude scratching records on modern equipment like at a club. Just fucking HORRIBLE

So hokey. Just no depth, the people that liked ragnarock and love and thunder will probably gush over it. It was comparable to series finale of GOT, Seinfeld, and Sopranos. 🙄
