This is a beautiful movie. Incredible acting, moving and poignant story, and so nuanced and thought-provoking. Highly recommended!

This absolutely did not live up to the semi-okay reviews! The acting was good but the story was bleak and depressing. Also, certain things made no sense, such as why she chose to get on the plane at the end. The ending could have been great but it was a letdown. It was two hours of my life wasted.

The sappiest most clichéd movie I’ve had to sit through. Laughably awful.

The first episode was interesting but the second was laughably awful. There’s no way I’m sticking with this. I’ll never get that hour back I just wasted on the second episode. It’s just going to keep getting worse.

Clearly AI has written these smarmy five-star reviews. This has to be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. It’s laughably bad. First of all, Anne Hathaway looks the same age as the young guy she is having a fling with. She might look two years older than the young woman playing her daughter. The scenes are so forced and contrived. There is zero chemistry between the two leads. They could have tried to make the young guy interesting or quirky or somehow different from his boyband persona but no. He’s just as bland and vacuous as he seems. They meet one late afternoon for the first time, have a five minute conversation, and that night at the concert where he’s the lead singer, he miraculously has written an entire song about being head over heels with her which somehow his whole band can perform, along with the choreography. It’s so stupid! Seriously this is a movie for 12-year old girls who aren’t used to ever seeing good movies.

Two and a half hours of my life I will never get back. It could have been so much better. A movie about what might happen in a nation-wide cyber attack could have been fascinating. But they had to throw in a supernatural element? Why were hundreds of deer suddenly watching people? What does that have to do with a cyber attack? It was never explained. Someone said the attack “interrupted animal migration” but deer don’t migrate. It was just flat out silly. I kept thinking if Ethan Hawke is in it, it has to be good. Julia Roberts has been in tons of terrible movies but not Ethan Hawke. I read that they were all paid a mint by Netflix but that seems like selling out. It was a ridiculous movie. Don’t waste your time.

I loved every moment of it. It’s whimsical and entirely magical without being saccharine and the acting is fantastic. You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this film!

What a beautiful film about humanity and how we can all open ourselves up the way these two lovely humans do to shine a light for others to see by.

I love both these actresses but there’s no way Annette Benning is only 60 as she’s supposed to be in the movie, nor does Jodi Foster look as young as 58. A quick google search shows their true ages to be several years older, which is obvious. Why do they do this is movies?
