The life and struggles of the then celebrities must have inspired Ayn Rand with the theme of this book. The fabrication is superb. Variety and contrast among the people, their behaviour, moods, outlooks etc is amazing. The scenario of the early twentieth century just fascinates today's reader. Every admirer of Ms Kay Gonda is a representative of a unique ideology and that's the beauty of this book. Would love to read more of Ayn Rand books.

Viewed this masterpiece today second time after a gap of eleven years. The incredibility lies in the fact that it’s a reality based story and not just a fabrication of imagination.
