Sets benchmark for Sanku stories, since this is the first one on screen. The expectation was that like other movies based on Ray stories it has to be something that has rewatch value. I think the movie does justice to that aspect. It's interesting and is convincing enough and kudos to the director and actors for that. The added treat are the special effects which have set some new heights in a Bengali film. Will wait for more such films based on Sanku series.

Thoroughly enjoyable, unique combination of horror and comedy. Tight script and good acting / direction makes this absurd story convincing. Would like to see more such movies that tell some story in such a fascinating way.
