When I switched on the Netflix to just chill out on a exhausting weekend, Dasvi popped up as a suggestive comedy. And the movie caught my interest within the first few minutes. Watching Abhishek in this new avatar is a sheer treat. 10/10 for his exclusive act as GangaRam chaudhary. At times you feel a justified deja vu of Amitabh's voice & gait. Yet Abhishek deserves an echoing applause for his role. This was a thoroughly hilarious watch, exclusive performances by Nimrat Kaur & rest of the cast. Initially one feels Yami is a naive pick for the role of a police superintendent, however her performance justifies her talent. Superb script & great timing sense keeps one smiling till the end. It was indeed a refreshing pick.

This movie is an eye-opener for people and politicians who cannot fathom the section 144 measures taken by the government. It can create awareness about the importance of self quarantine & social distancing during these critical times of a global crisis. It reinstates the need of unity & resolution in battling the spread of contagious fatal pandemics. It glorifies the strategic importance of education, seminal research & medical preparedness needed to fight such challenges in the present and future.. It can prove fruitful to enlighten people who are overconfident of their immunity or a possible fatality...
