This is a masterpiece. It’s visually breathtaking and dripping with clever metaphor and analogies. The dialogue is so rich and always poignant. Everything served the purpose it needed to serve. The color, the atmosphere, the music, it was all incredibly moving. I thought the acting was also amazing. Like any great revenge film; the audience’s blood lust is ferociously satisfied by the end. He tackled lots of big issues very eloquently, and was unapologetic about the rage behind them. I loved it all, one of my new all time favorite films!
