Loved it and one critic at a time is just that...one! Not interested in their individual smartness. Acting was great, music good, characters deep and rewarding, especially the main character; story intriguing and thought provoking; poignant or maybe sad. I will see it again, just as I might read a book more than once. I did have the advantage of not having read the novel, which means I had no preconceptions to deal with. My only criticism, no longer a fan of Nicole Kidman, say no more.
