This movie was SO boring. Even in the theater, people were looking around confused and disconnected. Is the movie scary? Nope! Does anything really happen at all? Nope! The character Longlegs is really just an annoying idiot, and doesn’t come across as scary in anyway. The movie tries to scare you using chap pop ins randomly, since it has no ability to actually be frightening on its own. It’s slow, boring, and tedious to watch. It’s the same old formula. Harkin is some genius and has all of the answers while her captain/sergeant is an utter buffoon. This movie really does suck, and the ratings show it. Absolutely not worth spending your hard earned money at the theater.

This is a SERIOUSLY slow burn of a movie. It’s two hours long, and feels more like three. It’s not poorly acted or done, it’s just really boring. There is NO action to be seen anywhere. Even the case itself is never shown. I finished it, but did not enjoy this at all. I don’t think the average person would get into it. Well acted, I’ll give it that. Entertaining it is not.

I’ve never played Quake even though I grew up a kid in the 90s. I had dabbled with Doom and Wolfenstein, and enjoyed both very much. I decided to download it and give it a try for the modest price of $10. I am so glad that I did. First off, the major question. Is this game still playable? A resounding yes! I cannot believe how much fun I am still having going through the first quake and all of the expansion packs. You get a ton of content here! But what good is a bunch of content if it’s not fun to play. Have no fear. You will be smiling all along the way as you blast through enemies with around a dozen enjoyable weapons. I highly recommend playing on at least the hard difficulty as this is where it really showcases how fun it is. If you enjoy FPS’s in any way shape or form, I simply don’t understand how you won’t love playing Quake!

Boring. Terrible combat. Looting is just a bunch of documents you don’t care to read. Story is confusing. Gave it about 5 hours and tossed in the flag. Very confused why this game was so highly praised.
