The best show I have seen on AMC since Mad Men and Breaking Bad. There are some differences between the book (one of the best books I have ever read, by Dan Simmons), and the series, but not enough to put me off at all. Great performances and writing. The only thing I would change would be to keep the creature invisible or barely visible; the CGI didn't really hold up for me there, but still the series is fantastic, and it is so beautifully shot even though it was filmed mostly on a soundstage. I thought this was a miniseries, and when I found out there would be a season 2 I was a bit skeptical, but seeing how the first season ended I will be back!

I was profoundly affected by this movie. I didn't expect to cry so hard, or at all, but the climax was heartbreaking and beautiful. Mark has always impressed me, even in the tiniest of roles, but Ray really displayed some incredible acting chops that I didn't realize he had. They both were so subtle and elegant in their roles, and I have been so hungry for a long time. Perfect movie with great elements of acting, writing and atmosphere.
