Not a bad premise although it's so full of contrivances, clichรฉs and hanging threads that it's frustrating. The big reveal was only half unexpected. And the final decision makes zero sense. They're just going back to die in the planet on leave their offspring to what? Die there stranded and alone too? This film kind of lost me the moment Clooneys character fell into arctic water with no change of clothes and didn't freeze to death within the hour.
