This is actually the appropriate END of Jack's novel THUNDERBIRD.
This 100-page "novel" gives us a tiny peek at who created the incredible 12,000 year old transport system discovered on a North Dakota Indian Reservation in THUNDERBIRD.
It is okay, but awful short.

I thought this was the final book in this elongated story. It is not. I won't wait to read another one, and I may not even read This One. Mr. Riggs should be ashamed. He's just milking this story until it is so thin it's like Millard -- clearly invisible. Just a drug dream.
